The classic Ortlieb Downtown Two has been given a new look that is both stylish and businesslike. In addition to its new appearance, however, this waterproof, modern bicycle briefcase also offers some impressive new functions. For instance, you now need only one hand to open and close the flap. The interior of the Downtown Two is as smartly structured as its exterior, offering a padded compartment for notebooks or tablets of up to 15.6”, an organizer with two zippered pockets, a pen holder and a carabiner for your keys. In addition to durable canvas, this popular bicycle briefcase can now also be purchased in wear-resistant Cordura fabric in the colors black and steel blue. 

Technologies

QL3.1-System & Quick-Lock3 – These systems are especially developed for office and city bags, and their secret lies in the fact that the main mounting components remain on the rack. This results in a smooth rear side of the bag that is free of protruding hooks, and significantly improves the bag’s carrying comfort when off the bike. 

QL3.1-System – The optimised QL3.1 mounting system allows fixing of panniers to the rack in an even more simple and faster way. The bag is inserted into the lower moun­ting point, and by approaching the rack, the top hooks slide into the upper reception points by means of a left to right motion. Removal of the bag is just as simple and fast: simply litt the bag by its handle and move it at the same time to the left or right.
